The Bodhisattva Institute - A Kagyu Dag Shang Buddhist Temple
The Bodhisattva Institute began in Tucson in 1989. Under the spiritual direction of the Venerable Lama Lodu Rinpoche, countless beings have benefited from studying and practicing the teachings of the Dharma, the words and practices taught by The Buddha.
We at the B.I. are very excited for our future in continuing to make the Dharma accessible in Tucson. With several new members the board of directors, we have decided to invest in upgrading and improving our center. Many volunteers have already made great progress in making our environment a beautiful place to practice Dharma. We are fortunate that past donors have made it economically feasible to invest in our center.
One substantial investment remains, the installation of a new air conditioning unit. Any donations towards this project will be appreciated. Our goal is $5000 towards the $10,000 cost.
